Aquamed Hydrotherapy Bed

Nearly everyone can enjoy and benefit from a Hydrotherapy session. The Aquamed Dry Hydrotherapy system uses the pressure effects of water, combined with heat, and allows the patient to remain dry during treatment. Dry hydrotherapy combines many of the elements of massage by simulating the tapotement and petrissage strokes of hand-on massage. Following treatment, studies have shown that blood pressure is reduced, oxygen levels are increased and the level of pain is decreased as the body’s natural painkillers are released.

Hydrotherapy reduces pain and promotes healing by stimulating circulation, heightening endorphin production, and flushing metabolites and lactic acid from sore, overworked muscles.

Dry Hydrotherapy can help improve a variety of conditions including;

  • Muscle spasms, sprains & strains
  • Arthritis & Rheumatoid disorders
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Wound Care & Pressure Sores
  • Swelling & Edema
  • Chronic Pain Syndrome
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Post Surgical Pneumonia prevention
